The museum describes the organization of Cheyenne and the history of the restored building. The Cheyenne Depot Museum was built in 1887 and is a Union Pacific Depot. It is the last of the grand 19th-century structure remaining on the transcontinental road. The architecture of the building gives it a rustic look.
