The memorial is an elegant building with roof resembling an eagle’s wings in flight. The building is centrally located in the complex. It has a 105 foot tall granite spire which rises from the floor and extends through the roofline. The memorial spire honors those who sacrificed their lives in the service of our country. The memorial honors the veterans as well as gives out the message of anti-terrorism and peace. The different flags are for the country, each branch of the military and the city of Plano. The view shows the placement of the statues. The effect of sun and the wonderful blue of the sky are the most attractive features of the shot. The picture inspires us to take some time to be thankful for peace and the veterans, who helped secure it for us.
