Tetons and the Snake River

This is the most-used spot in the Tetons for photography, and one of the most popular in all landscape photography. Everyone from Ansel Adams on down has shot from this point. It is easy to see why. First, it is on a paved overlook. Second, it is a good composition in almost any weather. Third, you can move ten feet in either direction, and the picture is weaker. Kodak should erect a shrine here.

Anyway, this is my proof that I have been to the Tetons. It was taken in August of 1982, but I am sure it looks about the same today.
