It is difficult to overpraise the Pacific coastline in Northern California and Oregon. The portion between Point Lobos and Big Sur is about as good as it gets, which is very good indeed. This is part of Garrapata State Park, on Highway 1, about six miles south of Carmel. The picture was taken in the summer of 1976.
This is the only picture I sell that has people in it. They are there, of course, only to indicate the scale of the scene. This was my all-time best-selling picture. Maybe I should include people more often.
