Crystal cave located in Kutztown, Pennsylvania, United States, was discovered in 1871, and since then it has been visited by millions of people. The caves are absolutely wonderful with some rock formations about half-million years ago. The formation in the picture is the most famous one in the cave. It is called an ‘upside down Ice-cream Cone’, as the different colored calcite deposits represent vanilla or chocolate ice-cream, whereas the various algae or plant life looks like a mint ice-cream.
