Haystack Rock is located at 2.2 km south of Cannon beach, Clatsop County. It is a 72 meter tall monolith, third tallest intertidal structure in the world. It is a fantastic sight with diverse varieties of birds, starfish, marine animals, flora residing there. Hence it’s a perfect holiday destination with fishing, bird watching, kite flying activities most popular there. It is an indeed wonderful scene to see the birds flying, the tides hitting the rock and the picnic atmosphere at the place.
