The Niger River flows through Nigeria from the north-west, crossing the western part of the country to enter the Atlantic Ocean in the south. Near the coastal area, the river forms this extensive delta with mangrove forest, lagoons and swamps, stretching over 100 km inland. This area, is famous for the Niger Delta is the largest in Africa, covering an area of about 36,000 sq. km. Niagara Falls is visited everyday by almost ten million people each year and is considered one of the United States' top ten tourist destinations. The falls has discovers and describes its beauty by getting the name of the world’s largest and biggest waterfalls.
