The only sculpture commissioned in the original design of Central Park, Angel of the Waters Fountain is one of the most photographed fountains in the world. It may be remembered as this fountain by its appearances in Angels in America, Ransom, and Stewart Little II movies. According to Greensward plan, Frederick Law Olmsted and Calvert Vaux called the architectural heart of the Park "The Water Terrace," for its placement beside the Lake and the grand fountain in the center. By taking a glance at streaming strips of delicate water fountain it feels to be fresher within than ever before by leaving behind a sigh of relief between our hearts.
