This is the site of American Civil War Battle of Vicksburg, which goes back to 1863. It is one of the most famous tourist attraction in the state and rightly so with one of the best architecture work. The dome of the fort is carved with many designs on it, and looks fantastic. There are sculptures above the entrance arches and the center of attraction being the eagle in golden with full wing stretch looks amazing.
