Biloxi lighthouse stands at 65ft/20m and was erected in 1848. It is believed to be first cast-metal lighthouse in the South. It is a very cool lighthouse located in the median of US 90. When observed from a distance it looks as if it is some small castle like structure standing in some oasis with water giving sand like effect. This scenic view is even more stunning in evening with lights from the lighthouse and the sparkling water complementing it.
