Hungo Pavi & Cliff

There is not much visible of Hungo Pavi, which had 73 ground-floor rooms, 2 kivas, and four stories in some places. Remnants of both Kivas can be seen in this picture.

It was built in the period AD 943-1047. It is less than two miles from considerably larger structures, so it is not clear what the need was for this one. It is not possible to attach much logic to Chaco construction, at this late date.
