Here the photograph displays a face painted on a rock of Lone pine, Alabama Hills which are a rocky formation on the eastern slope of the Sierra Nevada Mountains in the Owens Valley of California, near Lone Pine, California. The rock in the photograph is unusual because it is given a different kind of identity by painting it. Though the colour is quite monotonous all over but if keenly seen forms some patterns within of darker and lighter tones which gives an effect to lets say, the laughing rock!
